Nach ihrem Bachelor-Abschluss in Elektrotechnik mit Spezialisierung auf Informationstechnik setzte Katharina ihr Master-Studium an der FAU fort und schloss es im September 2023 erfolgreich ab. Zwei Monate später begann sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und Doktorandin am Lehrstuhl für Elektrische Smart City Systeme zu arbeiten. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt in der semantischen Kommunikation im Bereich der 6G-Kommunikation.
