Open6GHub – Consortium Meeting
Welcome
to the Consortium Meeting of the Open6GHub in Erlangen.
We are very pleased that we can realise a face-to-face meeting and invite all members to Erlangen.
This is the website for the meeting, which will be successively expanded with information.
Host of the meeting is Prof. Norman Franchi from ESCS of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.
It is organized together with Prof. Weigel from LTE and Prof. Vossiek from LHFT.

Venue
The venue for the meeting on Wednesday is the south campus (faculty of engineering) of the university FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Travel Information
- By public transport: Coming from Erlangen Main Station, you can take the busses 20, 30, 287, 293, or 295 to “Technische Fakultät/Wohnheim” (6 min walk to venue remaining), “Technische Fakultät” (3 min walk) or “Erlangen Süd” (12 min walk); See Bus Routes and Walking in document below.
- By car: There is a car park close to the building (see document below); within Erlangen, Public Transportation is quite good.
- By plane (Airport Nürnberg): Taking the Bus 30 to Erlangen Süd (see document below).
eduroam
eduroam is a European initiative that provides students and employees of a university or organisation with wireless network access at other participating universities and organisations (e.g. visiting students, travelling academics or during an event).
BayernWLAN
For guests who cannot use eduroam, BayernWLAN is available for Internet access at almost all FAU locations. The use of BayernWLAN is free, anonymous and unlimited. Confirmation of the terms of use is required once a day. After 10 minutes of inactivity or when changing the BayernWLAN hotspot, the session is terminated and may need to be restarted.
